The Extrajudicial Office of Raposa was installed on January 18, 2010 as a result of the approval in a public entrance examination by Notary and Registrar Gustavo Aníbal Macedo Coelho. Before the installation, the acts were performed in the Notaries of the different attributions of São Luís, São José de Ribamar and Paço do Lumiar. The Raposa Extrajudicial Service has already participated in several social actions, among them: civil registration task force, community marriages, land regularization seminars at the Raposa City Council and events organized by assistance bodies of the State of Maranhão and private entities.
